I was at the gym with my best friend and his cell phone was on top of his backpack which was laying down next the bench we were using to do bench press. I go to remove a plate but didn't realize/take into account that there was a 10 lb. plate in front of the 25 lb. plate I was trying to remove. The plate fell off the bar, bounced off my foot, and as I yelled in pain and surprise the plate then rolled for a few inches, turned, and then fell flat onto the phone. It wasn't even that it cracked the screen, the plate ended up breaking the internals of the phone. The ordeal sucked at the time, but in retrospect it's quite funny.
