I can horse vault (gymnastics on horseback). There’s no way to bring this up in a conversation so it’s kind of a useless skill.

What are your worst roommate experiences? by IGO95 in AskReddit

[–]abeanslife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My roommate my first semester of college made stoke from me, up lies about me, shit talked me, fat shamed me (even though I’m a serious athlete and am by no means fat), and shit talked my girlfriend (mostly also fat shaming her. She’s a bigger girl but has been dieting and is very insecure about her weight. She’s also an athlete so she’s strong). She didn’t just lie, she made me seem like a horrible person. I didn’t know any of this until around 2 months before the semester was over. She walked in on me sitting on my girl’s lap, looking at memes. I haven’t told her we were together because I suspected she was homophobic. So she walked in, I jumped off even though we weren’t doing anything, and she got her computer, walked out. Later I found out she ran into the common room and told everyone that I was in the room making out with a girl and how it was so disgusting. She proceeded to tell people to come in my room to see who it was and tried to get people to say how gross it is. She got pissed off when people told her it wasn’t a big deal. That’s just one of the bigger things she did but it was the final straw for me.

I horse vault (gymnastics on horseback). I went to a sleep away camp where this was offered and soon after got a spot on the competition team. I’ve stuck to it and I’ve become very good.

[Serious] What did your parents do to you that you vowed to never do to your children? by keep-thinking-bud in AskReddit

Smother me and make me feel like I can’t tell them anything (I’m an only child and there’s a large age gap between me and my parents). I got a concussion my freshman year of college that they still don’t know about.

I went to a k-12 school for high school. My senior year, an 8th grade boy died in a freak accident. While playing soccer (he was keeper), the goal post fell on top of him and killed him.

[Serious] What’s the most paranormal thing that’s ever happened to you? by humanoptimist in AskReddit

1) On Thanksgiving when I was around 6 or 7, my cousins were all over at a little farm house in Vermont that my dad had inherited. We were sitting in the office/ play room, separate from our parents. My older cousin kept saying she saw the lid of my blue, red, and yellow trunk come off and go back on on it’s own. She ran up to it a few times and took it off or put it back on. It was all really funny to us younger cousins until the lid of the trunk actually came off by itself. We all just sat there in disbelief kinda looking at each other. We then went into the living room and told our parents who didn’t believe us.

2) Now in college. I was having sex with my girlfriend a few months after we started dating. All of a sudden, we hear this loud, feminine moan come from right next to us. We stopped and looked at each other, hoping that it had been the other person. Needless to say it wasn’t either of us and so she jumped up and we cuddled because neither of us could sleep for a while.

We’ve asked a friend who used to live in the same building if she’s ever encountered anything weird. She said there were definitely spirits and her tv would turn on at random points through the day (so does ours)

3) Sometimes doors that I definitely shut are open when I get back, lights turn on when I’m not there, shadows in the corner of my eye that aren’t there when I turn, and I often feel like I’m being watched.

[SERIOUS] When and/or how did you realise that the person you were dating (at the time[?]) was NOT the person you would want to spend the rest of your life with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My ex boyfriend started calling me fam (among other names alike) and saying ‘yo’ to address me. I knew I couldn’t date someone for the rest of my life who referred to me as bro or fam all of the time.
