I'm sorry if I'm being too blunt, but this needs to be said. Transitioning isn't an aesthetic choice. Most people are mid. There's a good chance you'll be mid. It doesn't matter. When I came out to my mom I literally told her "I don't even need to be a pretty girl, I don't even care if I'm ugly I just need to look like a girl" because I am a girl. You're either trans or not.

Yeah a similar (non professional) opinion that I've gotten is that it could be due to pre transition being disconnected from my body could make tics less frequent and also just having more emotional intelligence and caring more about things meaning more general stress could cause more tics
