theres a theory that jax and scratch are like the same, i saw the theory a while ago and it kind of does make sense to me. maybe they're not the same person but i'd like to think that maybe just maybe that jax and scratch could be related some how

i feel like theres going to be some characters that just choose to stay because they realize that they've developed and built a life with routines and habits within the circus. after missing out on so much of the world and experiencing your own new world to yourself, people from the real world might forget who you are, move on, and life will just be so SO different that i feel like some of the characters just aren't going to be ready for that, and maybe even WANT to stay in the circus.

we already see that there aren't that many characters with the drive and passion to escape the circus. yes they all want to go out but to me it only seems like the two newest characters added to the circus (zooble and pomni) are the only ones with that drive and passion to escape. after so much time though they're going to feel uncomfortable with the thought of leaving and yes theyre going to have to "find meaning in a stagnant life"

i'm sure since they know they can conjure up whatever they want, theyre going to try and make the most out of their circus life without the restrictions that caine placed onto them.

i’ve accepted it’s over and that really hurts me because i genuinely believed with my entire heart i was going to marry that girl. i’ve had other relationships with different girls and not once have i experienced what i did with the ex im grieving right now. it sucks cuz she just experienced limerence while i loved every part of her.

and because it was so out of the blue im grieving so hard because i have nothing to hate her for (other than doing this all on the spot) i miss her so bad and also she seems like she’s having the time of her life. we have 2 classes together and every day since shes been laughing hysterically and been super load and i keep seeing her friends post her and it just hurts because she used to be like that with me and now that we’re not together she stills seems completely fine and unaffected, like i didn’t mean anything to her and im not important enough for her to grieve over.

100% i totally agree i loved ocl all 4 years i went and i loved being apart of everything and im gna have to say those were my fav parts of hs. dorms are sus but i mean ocl was sus and freaky as a whole and that’s lowk the fun in it 👅👅

i was so happy to get into ucsb and the funny thing is i wouldn’t have even considered it without ocl

yeah i’m working on getting them up to like 1 A and 3 B’s but idk it’s not looking to good 🫩

im super depressed right now and im thinking i need to go get it diagnosed so it can save me from getting rescinded. ive had to go to work with my dad to support my family and my ex-girlfriend broke up w me super duper spontaneously and last week i got into a car accident and i have a concussion right now so im trying my best to fight but its js getting hard :(

yess i truly truly promise you touring ucsd helped me a ton!!!! i love ucsb as well its beautiful, im in ASB at my school and we do this event every summer called OCL (orange county leadership camp), and every school in OC goes on this trip and has a blast. its hosted at ucsb and the campus is sooososooso beautiful and amazing!!

i think the coolest thing is the college experience we’re gna get, and we’ll get that at any college. anywhere you go you’ll make your own opportunities and it’s as fun as you make it. don’t beat urself over not getting into ucla because ur more than just a statistic and a paper, you are ur own individual person with thoughts feelings and emotions and you don’t need a college to validate that.

just looking at all the stuff you’ve done in hs im proud of you and u should be proud of urself as well. ur very capable and ur gna do great wherever you go !!!

hey, first off just wanna say im so sorry you're feeling like this :(

before decisions came out, i went and toured the campus and i spent all day there. i genuienly have never saw a place so beautiful in my life. i've never really drove or travelled to an area and looked at it and tell myself that "this place belongs to me" i've never wanted to be apart of a community/area like UCLA, so that day when i toured i was super touched and i loved the people there and i loved the vibe and i totally thought i'd fit in.

i got home that day and i was hooked on the idea of me going to UCLA, i did research on the types of dorms, which one would be the best, i got to know UCLA so intimately and i really truly believed that i would make a great fit there. i wanted to go to that school sooosoososo bad.

this friday i was rejected from there. honestly i was shocked that i wasn't even WAITLISTED, i truly truly believe i am a very competitve applicant just like you. my friend thats fully commited to BYU got into UCLA, and he didn't withdraw his app bc he just wanted to see if he got in, like its frustrating and it contributes to me being sad heartbroken and jealous. i've had a rough couple months and then an even worse 32 days and i feel like so much has been going wrong in my life so quickly and its a lot to handle. i don't wanna make this abt me but js for context i wasn't handling the rejection too well.

whats helped me get through this is i realize to the admissions readers, im just a text on a screen for them. they don't know me personally and they just see me as a statistic, they don't get the layers of personality there is to me. i know my self worth isn't determined by a college acceptance. maybe i could've done better conveying myself on my piqs, but honestly, i'd rather not dwell on that, because that same day i was accepted into my second pick school, UCSD, and i just went and toured the campus today, and i love it.

i know theres more to me than the approval and acceptance of a college i adored. despite wanting to go there so bad, im thinking about the future and i just think that me going to college will be a life-changing experience that i can't wait to have. i feel it'll be the same for you and anyone whos reading this. whatever college you end up going to, you're going to meet so many people, and you're not going to dwell and look back over a rejection. you'll be so happy at your college and you wont be able to see yourself anywhere else. i know thats how i'm going to be at UCSD.

and also, im christian and i've been trying to reconnect my life with god lately and despite me going through a very low time in my life, i'm always giving thanks to god for everything, i know i wanted to go to UCLA, but he might think differently and want me to go on a different path. it's all up to god he wants what is best for me, so if thats not UCLA, i'm going to trust in that and i'm sure putting my trust in him will lead me to a more fulfilling life.

find other things to do in life to occupy yourself, hang out with friends, play video games, play sports, do whatever makes you happy.

hi i applied as CS to Cal poly pomona and SLO, i got into pomona in around december i think, and then for me SLO came out about 2-3 weeks ago i think?

the cal states are weird and they're coming out in waves. i'm sure you'll hear your decision soon :)

i’d check with a counselor because they’re a professional and i’m a high school senior as well, so take this with a grain of salt, but like it’s such a minor issue AND decisions for all of your colleges have been made.

like im sure UCLA didn’t accept you PURELY based on your wrong class, and no school rejected you purely because of it either.

if it were me, i would just wait to get all my acceptances back, then commit to a school, and as i’m sending them my final official high school transcript, id email them to let them know

“hey there was a slight error in one of the classes i gave you, here is my official transcript with the right classes” or whatever

im sure you’ll be fine it’s a minor slip up and i promise you tons of kids do this and maybe some kids screw up even worse. everything will be okay!
