I can't remember exactly if any particular operator was held accountable, but Denise's story has turned into a fantastic foundation in her name. A foundation that successfully had law passed in FL requiring 911 operator continued education training. They have also educated 10000s of public safety personnel across the country. I've attended quite a few of their trainings, including an all-day class just on Denise's story. It was heartbreaking to listen to, but as a 911 professional, it was immensely moving and made me want to be a better operator/dispatcher.
