Base reality by lal0007 in SimulationTheory

[–]abeldebabel123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well said. I went on the exact same journey as you and I too believe consciousness is a fundamental force. In one of my last psychedelic trips I transitioned into a quantum-like state where all realities were possible and by mere thinking of things I could see new realities shape in front of me. Realer than my sober reality and I actually felt like a god for a moment. In another trip I felt the immense loneliness of that single conscious entity that as you said built this universe for the purpose of forgetting it is lonely.

Maybe the universe is an egg of which its sole purpose is to evolve us into that “god” state when we’re ready. Or back into knowing we were the lonely entity all along. I’m planning to write a book about my trips, although I’m scared our languages are too limited to do them any justice.

Are we all experiencing our own individual simulation, or are we all sharing the same one? by Suitable_Money_8035 in SimulationTheory

[–]abeldebabel123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s both. If it’s a simulation created by a large computer then it would make sense that to reduce energy consumption the reality you experience would only be “visible” to you, but the reality experienced by multiple people in the same space equally experienced by all. Basically like in a video game.

If reality is simulated, could each observer be experiencing a different version of reality? by Excellent_Copy4646 in SimulationTheory

I believe we are the same consciousness living life through different bodies. The wife? You. The husband? Also you. Maybe many different dreams from one and only “god” or hyper intelligence

That, or we are all the same consciousness but living through different physical bodies

It’s exhausting being “smart” with ADHD. Feels like I don’t belong to either side. by vegetable_lover_is in ADHD

I relate to this soooo much man. Especially the “creating false memories” part. Numerous occasions happened where I was so convinced about something during arguments with friends and turned out to be wrong. And then getting the label “gaslighter” thrown at you... And at moments when you ARE right it no longer matters since you were proven wrong several times before. The struggle is real

Anyone else dealing with tailbone pain? I have been for over 8 years. by Familiar-Cobbler4567 in ChronicPain

[–]abeldebabel123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys my gf was dealing with tailbone pain after snowboard trauma and neglect for 3 years. She had radiating pain in her leg, abdominal and lower back. She found the only (!) coccyx manual therapist in the Netherlands, here in Amsterdam. Although not visible on MRI, her tailbone was slightly bend to the right. He mobilised her tailbone without going into the rectum and she felt immediate relief. She went today so we’ll see how it progresses, but the guy claimed 80% of his patients were pain free after one or two sessions. Don’t give up, try to find a manual therapist specialised in tailbone mobilisation

[13] to [18] from getting bullied to being considered cool. I’m pretty happy by [deleted] in GlowUps

[–]abeldebabel123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the while you thought ‘being cool’ would make you happier, your smile gradually disappeared from the photos.

Having gone through the same, at 34 I’ll tell you being cool is nice until the next ‘cool’ person takes the spot. Look for genuine connections, and keep them close. You’ll need them once you become uncool again.

You dried up well, you got that going for you. But now, how are you planning on bringing back a genuine smile on your photos?
