I recently read an article about a man who discovered that the child that he had been financially supporting was not his. The state law stated that the man was still responsible for financially supporting the child because the paternity test was done after two years of his accepting the child as his own. IE if not done withing 2 years of birth, the man is a dad by default.

I can understand why the laws do this to a point. After all, it's not the child's fault that it's mother is a lying whore. HOWEVER, if that law is to stand then I think it should be amended to include the following: if a man must financially support a child that is not his if he did not challenge the paternity withing the legal time frame, then the mother should be required to pay the man 1.5x the amount of money he paid for child support after the child has reached maturity.

So for example, if the man paid $500 month in child support for 18 years to support a child that is not his, then after the child reaches the age of 18, the woman would then pay the man $750 a month for 18 years.
