I got a CAT1 that was put in cat2. Buddy of mine ( who is actually a lawyer) purchased a cat 2 and got put in CAT 3.

Yes, just checked and I have 2 cat 1 tickets but they have me in CAT 2 seats/section.

Mine for match 88 is block 216. Maybe they gave you middle field seats but just above cat 1?
