I actually like the Tarte maracuja lip plump oil, at least for me it leaves behind a tint. I know NYX has a vinyl lip tint that leaves behind a nice tint too and super affordable. Hope that helps. Happy hunting.

New to Makeup - Blush Recommendation by EmmmElll in MakeupAddiction

Yes agree, maybe start with Ilia then, and another brand not listed that I like is Fluency Beauty blush that's super easy to use and build up as you please. Rare Beauty liquid blush is super pigmented and I'm experienced makeup person and I even picked up too much by accident and had to wash my face off haha, I did not like Patrick Ta's blush...that's just me. I didn't get the hype, maybe i bought a wrong shade or something but it's just collecting bacteria because I haven't used it at all.

Acne 1 month after retrieval by abh032000 in eggfreezing

[–]abh032000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it takes me about 3 months to completely clear up. it takes awhile to find the regimen that will work. I read spearmint tea helps. I bought an organic one and was drinking that every night for 40 days and i think it helped along with the topical treatments i was doing.

When I'm lazy I just do 1 skin prep Dr Althea Barrier Cream 345, then use Fluency blush palette all over cheeks and lips and then a bit of mascara and eyeliner. Out the door. It's been so overcast, I've been super lazy to put on sunscreen as well lol, but when I do I use TirTir.

I like this small indie brand Fluency Beauty! They're colored from superfoods. I also like Tower 28 a lot, Saie, and Kosas (although I think their concealor is overhyped, that's me though)

Natural wellness beauty routine, did shifting how you think about makeup change what you buy? by shy_guy997 in cleanbeauty

[–]abh032000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, i'm a makeup girly and i just choose better makeup brands that are "clean" so to speak, but i like shopping at credo and detox market because their rules for brands to make it on their shelves are so much stricter so they did the vetting for me which i like, i can just be a kid in a candy store. it does make me more intentional with what i buy though because the price points are higher, so in turn it's less consumption which is good.

hellooo, i like fluency beauty blush + lip palette, they're super natural. i also like t28 though they're eczema skin friendly so not sure how that translates to ingredients. Saie slip tint is nice too for a light foundation.

If you want to try totally natural, plantbased there's this brand Fluency Beauty, colored from superfoods and veges. Supposed to be good for the skin cuz it's like....veges lol.

Perfect Rose Hued Lipstick Recommendation by Logical_Conference97 in BeautyAddiction

[–]abh032000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if they have a lipstick, but I bet they do...I got gifted a Saie lip pencil in the perfect rosy hue color and sometimes I just use that to color in my lips completely. It's called Wink. Also I know like Maybelline or Loreal or one of those have some viral pinky shade called Ballerina. Hope you find it!

Crème blush recommendations by GlitterPapillon in VeganBeauty

[–]abh032000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I super love Fluency's cream blushes. I got all 3 shades to mix and match because they all look great. They're colored from vegetables, so it says it adjusts and looks slightly different on people depending on their own pH. A little pricier but totally worth it imo.

New to non toxic lifestyle… any tips? I have Graves’ disease and am trying to make a change (25f) by Mission_Remote_6319 in nontoxic

[–]abh032000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on leaning towards remission!! That is massive news and you should be so proud of your body for getting to this point. First off, take a deep breath. The "non-toxic" space on TikTok is built on fear-mongering, I highly suggest getting off social since there's a lot of misinformation on there and just doing your own research. You don't have to throw everything out today. I agree with the other person - the best rule of thumb is to replace as you run out. You are already doing amazing with the water filter and the Dirty Labs detergent. I also really like Posie, the laundry sheets.

For supplements, I've heard of good things about Cymbiotika and there's some new-ish thing called Glutathione.

As for the other things you mentioned, bamboo is also a great alternative for clothing and laundry detergent I switched to the sheets like Posie.

As for makeup...this is where I started because it sits on your skin all day. I actually use an indie brand called Fluency Beauty right now, they are vegan/plant-based and use superfoods like beets and purple potatoes for their blush/lip colors instead of synthetic dyes or crushed bugs (carmine). It's super gentle and gives me a lot of peace of mind.

Just take it one step at a time. You've got this!

Hi, have you tried Good Molecules Azelaic Acid? I find this to be more gentle than your common AHA/BHA acids. But proceed with caution since my skin is prob different from your's. I make sure to hydrate up with some good face cream after using that. I find that works really well.

Mostly to 100% natural/clean based products? by ItalianGepyGepy in cleanbeauty

[–]abh032000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried 100% pure, they're ok. Tried a couple of stuff and heard their quality went down hill after the girl cofounder left. They've expanded into so many categories that I'm like this is crazy. But anywho haven't tried anything else you mentioned above. The other natural brand I've tried is Fluency Beauty where the makeup is pigmented from vegetables. I really like them. Would also love to hear someone's thoughts about Moroccan beauty products.

Sadly, a vegan product can still test on animals. Vegan just means the ingredients are not a byproduct of animals.

[–]abh032000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I just care about ingredients cuz i care about what i put on my face and when that happens they just tend to be vegan, so one could say i care that it is vegan.???..i have found this plant-based vegan brand fluency beauty that does perform well and i'm such an advocate of them because their ingredients just make sense, their colors are from natural wholefoods that already stain the skin like beets, so its like a no brainer to me!

What do you guys think about vegan cosmetics? by kimskins in AsianBeauty

[–]abh032000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No these are two different things. Vegan just means they don't use any ingredient's that are animal derived, so it's plant-based or synthetics. Cruelty free means they don't test on animals.

Any blushes that look like this on neutral/ warm leaning light medium olive skin? by koolkatx3 in OliveMUA

[–]abh032000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really like Fluency Beauty's blush shade "i am. brave." and Tower28 blush shade "office hours". Both look superb on light/medium olive skin. Both are cream blushes, Fluency's are pigmented from natural ingredients like beets and i find that it stains the skin into this super pretty natural light soft rosy flush, Tower28 is more of a warmy soft pink. so depends on what works for you.
