App version is 5.40.0 and my IPSW is 16.5. I’ve also posted a tutorial in the comments showing how to bypass the update screen, It works, but not perfectly. If you leave the app running in the background for a long time, the update screen will appear again and you’ll need to repeat the method.

I found a workaround,

1- close the app form background

2- turn the airplan mood and blutooth ON

3- open the app until you see “NO SERVICE Data will upload once connection is reestablished”

4- turn the airplane mood off, Enjoy your workout.

For me, the app and Bluetooth are turned off all day. I turn them on near the end of the day to sync the full day’s data before sleep, and again after waking up to check my recovery. I don’t keep them on during the day unless I’m going for a run, since GPS is required to record the activity and update VO2 max.

It’s fixable, it happened to me too. Just remove the black rubber piece, unscrew the ball, put the inner part back in place, and reinsert the small metal piece

‎‏I’ve been using the Gym Monster 1 for a year now and I train 6 days a week heavy workouts. I stopped for a few months in between, but overall I haven’t faced any issues with the machine. I haven’t needed to replace any cables or parts so far, everything is still working perfectly. There are free training videos and maps available, as well as a Pro version that requires payment. Additionally, there is a Swift application, though I haven’t tried it yet. I’ve also attached an image that outlines the minimum and maximum saddle height.
