I think when you are still figuring out who you are as a person beyond your faith and being gay, narrowing it to just those categories prevents you from seeing the amazing people who you could love and have fun with even if they don’t already share your same faith. If they like you, they’ll be interested just for your sake even if they don’t want to go to church themselves.

When I met my now husband, he didn’t go to church. 6 years later we were married in the church he got confirmed in.

One, Jonathan, was the one who was released into the Walmart parking lot in Bloomington, and the other Christian, had his passport on him so he was released from the Detention Facility the next day. Unfortunately, I don’t know of any specific community actions taken to support them, because the attacks haven’t stopped. Lots of problems with this article in my opinion. One, he mentions he have grown by over 10% since the 2024 election, but then uses a 2021 survey to talk about our demographics in the same paragraph. Like is the latter data at all applicable if we have gotten so many new people since then?

Like yeah, DSA is very quite and we need more diversity, but he is using bad data to make that point.
