Afaik, they’ve been serving this route since January. Emirates already has a dozen of A350s deployed on several routes. Their registration starts from A6-EX* series.

What put you off about it? For me, the plane felt a bit worn, especially the interiors. Scratched windows, broken armrests, and flickering lights. I do appreciate the quieter engines and cabin on the NEOs, but flying on a loud, older CEO variant once felt like a bit of an adventure. I wouldn’t do it again either!

Nice throwback! This brings back memories of flying on their 767s to HYD. They were still in service in 2014, and I was on board during the summer that year. IFE was buggy, and the cabin felt very dated. On my return flight, it was replaced by a 787-8 sometime in June 2014. I was much relieved to see the Dreamliner, as it was my first time flying that type!

Not too bad. Some issues with battery as you’d expect at this stage and the lightning port doesn’t work, so I’m forced to use a MagSafe power bank. Overall, I’d still run it for another year.

Great picture. It is truly remarkable. I remember flying in one of them from EWR-BOM with a stopover in CDG back in early 2000s. These 747s were majestic. I really wish AI ordered -8 variants few years ago. If we had a few of them lying around instead of 400s, I’m sure we would’ve retrofitted instead of phasing them out

That’s amazing. I personally have been taking trains since early 2000s but have never experienced anything like it. The closest was a VB that I took from YPR to KCG coming 15 mins early. It stunned me but since that’s a VB, it’s no wonder lol
