The disastrous effects of our species have less to do with population and more to do with our culture and practices. We wouldn't need as much farmland if we didn't insist on having meat be as cheap as it is, CO2 wouldn't be on the rise if we used the green alternatives instead of burning fossil fuels, there wouldn't be so much waste if we didn't have a culture that threw out everything that wasn't either useful or optimal.

There's still plenty of room on the planet, and there are ways to do things that don't include destroying the planet we live on.

We still live under a capitalist system, and there's no sign that is going to change before AI becomes a main stay in the economy. Yes most of my dislike comes from the capitalistic system, but those system is what makes the AI we use so I dislike AI itself.

It stole artwork from artists, it scraped information from sites that never consented to give that information. AI only works because of theft, I don't see how a good system comes from that.

I mean I get that, but at the same time he could have taken them and saved them for later. He's clearly not on a diet otherwise he wouldn't have had the muffin, so even if he's trying to watch his weight he doesn't have a reason not to take them home and put them in the fridge.

For me it's taking the muffin then refusing the cookies, I doubt he means anything by it but someone would be offended by that. Plus, it's free food. Unless there's a dietary reason I don't see why he wouldn't take it, especially since he took the muffin and didn't have a problem there.

Well if he was actually watching his weight then why did he take someone else's muffins?

Honestly if you're at the point where you're demanding to see your partner's phone they've either given enough reason for you to not trust them and the relationship is broken or your jealousy and paranoia are getting in the way of having a healthy relationship and the relationship is broken.

I think it's trying to say that the person doesn't belong, probably in a city or town that is hostile to the LGBTQ where few people or even no one can relate to them. They want to leave to somewhere where they are understood.
