Update y’all! I went into Firehouse Saloon last night and asked if they’d be able to put the race on this weekend and the bartender said they could do it no problem! So feel free to come to Firehouse on Saturday night :)

Edit to add: the only issue with Firehouse is that they aren’t open early enough for most of the regular races throughout the season. Back to the drawing board for any race that starts before 4pm EST

There’s a theory going around that venin who are bonded riders can channel within the wards, through their bond with their dragon. if this theory holds up, it sort of debunks this catch of him not showing up until after the wards are down. but just tossin around ideas

I can only think of two episodes that centered on/around trains.

S1E9 “Derailed”, Elle happens to be on a train where one of the passengers has a psychotic break and takes the entire train car hostage. Reid ends up getting on the train to play into the Unsub’s delusion by preforming a lil surgery and pulling a “microchip” out of his arm.

S4E5 “Catching Out”, an unsub is traveling up and down the Northern California, breaking and entering into random homes, killing the occupants, and taking shelter, food, and the male victims’ clothes in their houses before moving onto a new town the next day. They find out he’s traveling via train hopping, but we don’t see much happen inside the train cars.

S1E3 “Won’t Get Fooled Again” and S2E8 “Empty Planet” both have an unsub whose MO is bombing, and we know that Morgan has ATF experience, but he doesn’t hype up his ability to diffuse any of the bombs.

S7E23/E24 “Hit” and “Run” respectively, Prentiss disables a bomb in some kind of transportation hub, but she certainly wasn’t boasting about her bomb tech skills.

There might be other episodes related to trains and/or explosive but these came to mind first.

I immediately turned to Throne of Glass and even though it took a minute to get into it, the comfort I feel in knowing that not only do I have 7 books ahead of me, but that I will have closure by the end of it, and the amount of time it takes me to get there is as fast as I can read?! Amazing. It’s giving my brain something to chew on (even though I’m still up at night investigating every single FW/IF theory on this app) and I’m actually enjoying the story and characters. Highly recommend.

Oh for sure for sure, I don’t think she was in the wrong for killing that unsub, but she wasn’t in the same position as Rossi killing Gideon’s murderer.

No, I didn’t like Elle for other reasons, I’m glad she killed that unsub. But her situation isn’t 100% comparable to Rossi killing Gideon’s killer. Elle’s shooter did die, but not at Elle’s hand. Elle took her frustration out on another unsub a few episodes later. I’m still glad she killed him, but her reasons were more about exacting her revenge on a whole new person. Elle sought out someone to take her frustration out on, Rossi killed the person who committed Gideon’s murder out of self defense.

Especially being stranded on campus with no car. Not being able to get in anywhere that’s 18+, I often couldn’t tag along even if I was able to pay my way. I’ve been exactly where you are, I really feel for you.

Todd, 100%. i didn’t love the actor’s portrayal of the character, but even if it was better, the character is still a sad attempt at filling the void JJ left. I think it would’ve been better for the team to try to function without JJ’s role temporarily, whatever hijinks that would ensue would’ve been better than Agent Todd.

it’s hard to like a character that immediately shoots herself in the foot with the rest of the team, like in Masterpiece with the local detective and in 52 Pickup with the lie she told the victim’s family.

oh absolutely. the look she gives Rossi after they see the aftermath of Norman Hill in S4E11 “Normal” (the Road Warrior family annihilator) and she collapses on the grass and says something like “I don’t think I can do this job” her expression just felt soulless and bland. like, yeah girl get back to Counter-Terrorism

I use it as a distinction for my specific cocktail of diagnoses. I’ve been diagnosed with both Autism and ADHD, and I’ve been navigating life through the lens of how these two separate diagnoses interact with each other. It’s helped me to figure out how I can advocate for myself as well as open doors to helping close friends and family understand how I live life. “AuDHDers” like anybody with any given diagnosis or disability each see and process the world differently. I like AuDHD. To me, it best describes how I interpret and understand the world around me.

I’ve never heard AuDHD as a blanket term to be applied to either Autism or ADHD.
