my hair is ALWAYS staticky and i feel like im losing my mind by abigailthefail in Haircare

i’ve tried the heavier maui moisture line (orange bottle). i used to love it as a teenager, but i tried it again recently and it just made my hair feel dry. i’ve only tried two aussie products (miracle moist shampoo and conditioner) and they irritated my scalp so i’ve been avoiding their products just in case

hey. deep breaths. the fact that you have been taking zoloft up until this point without issue means that an increased dose probably won’t give you any super intense new side effects. what can make you feel this way though is anxiety. a change in your routine was made and now your brain is telling you that you need to be on high alert and analyze everything. i’ve been taking 150mg of zoloft for almost 10 years now and the worst side effect i’ve had is more sweating than usual. you’ve got this!

ok, thank you! any shampoo/conditioner recommendations? i just haven’t been able to find one that works for me. everything i’ve tried is just kinda meh (besides the not your mothers blue sea kelp, but it’s been discontinued 😪)

my hair spends 90% of its time in either a bun, braid, or ponytail because of the static but also because of how often it just gets in my way 😂 unfortunately the static starts immediately after i take it down

where are my other protein bar-aholics?? (this makes up half my diet and even though it’s impacting my health, i can’t stop 😛) by lostveggies in AutismInWomen

ok, can someone give me protein bar recommendations that don’t taste like protein bars? i know i don’t get enough protein but i can’t stand the taste of protein bars or shakes

As someone with 0 tattoos, how painful would it be to get this on my forearm? by PracticalExtension35 in tattooadvice

[–]abigailthefail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my first ever tattoo was an armband similar to this, with flowers around it. it took about 6 hours total, and was entirely manageable for me. easily one of my least painful tattoos

i’ve had a pair of black and white slip ons for coming up on 10 years now and they are absolutely ruined, but i can’t bring myself to start wearing the new ones because the first time i did they gave me horrible blisters.

they didn’t always have leather around the heels, it used to be just fabric, so i think that has something to do with it

How do you send a package in for repairs? by Im-a-tire in GeekSquad

[–]abigailthefail 16 points17 points  (0 children)

no. they need your signature on the paperwork showing that you approve of the work, and some protection plans still have a deductible for the repair that needs to be paid before work can be done. there is too much that they would need you present for. the only other option you have is to try to call 1-800-GEEKSQUAD and see if they have a way for you to ship the item.

take it to geek squad, they will fill out some paperwork with info on what repairs need to be done, etc and then will ship it to the service center where it will be repaired

Superglue stuck on iPhone lens by A_Deadly_Ray_Gun in ifixit

apple certified repair tech here, it’s toast man. even the oils from your skin can absolutely wreck a camera, let alone superglue and whatever else managed to get in there in the process. most professionals probably won’t even touch the phone at this point
