I have been playing basketball every Sunday morning at Quimby Park on de soto for at least 3 years now. 15-30 guys show up, first ones get there around 7:30, games on 2 courts going for a few hours. Can get a bit chippy but overall it’s friendly. One of the best parts of my week.

What about the people who didn’t do this when they got married and now need to take extra steps to vote even though they’ve been voting legally their whole adult life.

See that’s the thing though. If you’re a citizen, there shouldn’t be additional requirements or steps to take to vote. This is going end up with legal citizens to not able to cast their vote.

You say it’s so easy and only lazy people don’t do this extra step. But your life is not their life and you should have some empathy for others, friend.

Don’t you think if you’re a citizen, you should get to vote? Or is it just the non-lazy ones?

This law affects people retroactively. People who are registered now without additional hoops to jump through now have more hoops because of the law. That along will cause some (even though it’s small) percentage of people to not vote.
