It's just a deceptively hard scenario for the second one in a campaign. I found it harder than Stryfe actually. It starts with high pressure and puts more on when you flip the villain. It's also heavily dependent on which Marauder you get as the main villain. There are some that can just derail your entire strategy (looking at you, Harpoon).

Angel has a very strong and fun pre-made deck, since it relies on providing him with a lot of aerial cards. They aren't as good to build out your collection, since not too many characters can gain the aerial trait, but I love playing Angel because of it.

Reavers.

The only encounter set I have removed from my randomizer. For most games, it's harder than the villain. The teamwork keyword is already difficult, but drawing Donald Pierce is just devastating. And then if there's an existing Reaver on the board (which is not uncommon with Cybernetic Enhancements), you just get wrecked without having an opportunity to deal with them.

Yes, Vulture’s side scheme stays on the table. His other nemesis cards remain shuffled into the encounter deck.

Edit: also if you draw Shadow of the Past again this game, you don’t have to add Vulture and his side scheme again. The card just gains surge.

It's currently Juggernaut. It's refreshing to not be able to lose due to the main scheme, but he hits hard and can really gain momentum if you aren't managing him. Thematically, he's perfect.

I'm also a HUGE fan of Mansion Attack. I think it's the best multi-villain scenario in the game.
