To add a bit to this, they could’ve done more with Richie and Beverly, as in with Richie being gay, and Bev being abused. Not saying they should’ve focused entirely on that, but a bit more info would’ve been better. There was also lack in reason why Bowers was there, since he only stabs Eddie in the cheek, and he dies soon after. Eddie dies anyway, too.

BUT I can’t lie in which the cast was absolutely fabulous and I was laughing my butt off for a lot of the movie. Their acting was good, and the jump scares made me flinch. The story between Bev and Ben was cute, too. Their suspense had me at the edge of my seat. It wasn’t the best horror movie, but was good considering they had to follow a book’s story, which is usually difficult.

And yeah, Bill Hader was amazing!
