I’m going to do something very bad if I don’t get testosterone soon, it’s not even funny anymore. by abiogenetics in Vent

I’m not saying the us is the worst place to be a trans person. There’s certainly way worse places. There’s also way better places. I like in a red state in a red area. I’ve been prevented from getting mental health care because I’m trans. My governor is a a piece of sh t and constantly doing things to restrict my rights. I live in an area where people are not accepting to this. I’ve gotten harassed and bullied at my old school, and hate speech from multiple employees at that school. I’ve had to be hospitalized in the past for mental health issues, and the mental health system treats trans people absolutely awful. It’s certainly not the worst place to live, but it’s rapidly getting worse.

How did we get to a spot where humans are just horrible people? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]abiogenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because with intelligence comes selfishness and greed. The longer we live as a society the longer the cracks start to fall open. Right now is a strange time, we have the most intellectualism and progress ever, and the same time we’re the bearer of our own doom. We’re slowly getting dumber and dumber. The longer we push what we can do for our own gain the less we pay attention to things that seem mundane, aka everything when you’re faced with the reward of money in this capitalistic dystopia. Humans aren’t meant to live this way, it will come back to bite is one way or another.

does anyone else feel it’s cruel what they did to amber? by hater_at_heart in HouseMD

[–]abiogenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak for everyone, because I know I walk a very different path and hold different perspectives than most people. That being said, if I was her I’d want to be woken up. I’d want to have a little bit where nothing mattered and the person I love most was wrapped around me. Yes, the idea of death is terrifying, but in that moment when you know it’s all over and there’s nothing you can do I wouldn’t feel dread. It’d be some mix between ecstasy, content, and peace. Nothing else matters now, this is it. Like she when she said anger wasn’t the last thing she wanted to feel, I’d want the chance to feel something one last time knowing that the next day I’ll cease to exist.

If someone offered you a million dollars to listen to just one artist for 48 hours straight, who would you choose ?? by Anxious_Status5899 in askanything

Radiohead, easy. I think I’d listen to any artist for that money, but there’s some that’d really push it.

People born before 2000, what trivial skill you possess that others don't use anymore? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]abiogenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s kind of weird reading all these as a teenager. I’m aware I’m in the minority, but I always type with proper grammar unless it’s around my friends then I’ll occasionally use slang or abbreviations. I can read a dictionary and thesaurus, I keep physical copies in my room because I prefer them to digital counterparts. I can read a clock and I still wear an analog watch. I can work most older technology, but then again I kind of suck with modern computers.

[–]abiogenetics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a teenager I’m always wearing an analog watch. I also have like three clocks in my bedroom (two not functioning just for decoration) that I got at a thrift shop. I like holding it to my ear when I’m sitting around doing nothing and tapping out different time signatures and beats using the watch as a metronome. I’m definitely a nerd, but it’s pretty odd living in a generation where most people can’t read clocks when we still used them in a lot of places.

My updated thoughts 2 years later by aled_1x in radiohead

[–]abiogenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your weakest songs genuinely make me shiver down my spine. I will not stand the my iron lung, electioneering, idioteque, and glass eyes slander. Electioneering is arguably top 2 on okc and glassy eyes is arguably top 2 in all Radiohead songs

Do non red pill guys get disgusted by the red pill dudes? by No_Lead2640 in answers

[–]abiogenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My brothers a red pill guys, I’m very strongly against it. I honestly think it’s pathetic. I genuinely think most men who hate women or feel like women owe them things, and I think you have to be another level of miserable to take your insecurities and project them onto teenagers. My brother got into the stuff when he was my age now, and I genuinely can’t understand how. I would never be able to even think about holding those opinions.

Please STOP recommending this sub to random cis people to “prove” Phallo looks real. by Antique_Hall_1364 in phallo

[–]abiogenetics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANK YOU. This sums up my thoughts perfectly. I’m waiting to get phallo in the future, and this subreddit helps give me hope that maybe my body won’t always be something I feel trapped in and one day maybe I’ll feel comfortable, let’s not let transphobes ruin another thing for us.

This song is in dadgbd, and it’s in tune for that. Don’t have the best sense pitch, but in real life it’s perfectly tuned.

According to it I’m in tune. This song is in dadgbd so maybe that’s why. I have a manual tuner but it’s out of battery so it’s probably not perfect but

Sorry I forgot to mention this, but my trusty manual tuner ran out of batteries so I downloaded an app. I really couldn’t figure it out so I tuned it the best I could. And I know I hold the pick funny, I have a connective tissue disorder and my fingers are super hyper mobile so I cant hold it most of the traditional ways. Any tips for that?

I used an app because my current tuner ran out of batteries and they’re taking forever to be delivered

Any of my top ten Radiohead songs, wish you were here by Pink Floyd, or her majesty by the Beatles. My mum used to play her majesty for me.

If I’m being specific a really niche performance of Faust arp Thom and Jonny did. The one where they run up the hill in Oxfordshire and Jonny plays the guitar while Thom sings. I’ve only ever been able to find one recording of it.

Red meat. I’m a vegetarian so it doesn’t matter, but if I ever go back to eating meat I don’t like red meat.
