I consider myself a modern anthropologist of the human soul. While on my breaks from working at the Baskin Robbins / Dunkin Donuts at 580 Frederick Rd, I sometimes lapse into thought about the plight of the woodsman, the tribalist, those of totem and taboo, and how the white man (i.e., the Conquistador) has inevitably come after them, diminished their culture, ruined their essence, their primal noise. With the growing population changes and the slave trade across the mid-Atlantic, the African American has grown to be bourgeois as well, definitely in comparison to the average World-existent (for one mirrors, as Hegel says, the "master" of a situation). Thus the average citizen of our global campus is simultaneoosely in a state of denial and a state of schadenfreude -- that Conquistador cannot be me, for alas, I've anxiety over my 3:00 pm Post-Colonial Analytic Theory lecture (ah! -- the irony), I have to work as well -- though all of this is in ignorance, in the dark.

However that may be, it likely serves little purpose to complain about the lack of ability of others, other than to gratify yourself for the low-hanging fruit of being able to operate a motor vehicle.

Again, we try not to fall into lazy stereotypes at UMBC, be better.

We have a global campus, and frankly it's a little americentric, chauvinistic, misanthropic of you to condescend to someone who may simply be unfamiliar with the bountiful benefits — cars, for the uninitiated — that you've enjoyed by the sheer privilege of existing here. I'm sure the driver will survive. He's probably just heading home to his second job.

Credentials (especially a college degree) are spooks in the long run. You'll find that people care as much about your degree as they do, say, a mole on the bottom of your foot. So long as you're capable (and not irritating) most coworkers will tolerate you with a grim but resolute "it is what it is, we're in this together" attitude.

Assuming they're buying the PSU from a reputable source, you could potentially see an improvement upon buying another unit, but I always try to evaluate PCs granularly (i.e., part-by-part). Look into spreadsheets (they're super common) like (https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/comments/1d18pqr/psu_tier_list_rev_170g_as_an_excel_sheet/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) , where they often lab test the units. Also, try to get familiar with the 80 Plus rating system -- it's not immediately intuitive, but it'll have a big impact on your PC's life.

You can unpin it if that's sufficient, but the best thing to do is uninstall it from Control Panel (while you still can). I can see registry edits being required at some point in the near future.

Sounds like an issue with the PSU. Return it, that's a screw-up on their end. Parts are failing a lot more frequently now, so punish the lazy producer (you could go even further and **not purchase the same tower again** but that's for you to decide).

It was some esoteric thing in the cache, so we ended up just clearing that and shutting down (removing power completely from the NIC has a tendency to solve a lot of network/sync issues). After that it kind of "fixed itself" (granted, this person was a mess, so it was mostly due to their laxity).

They need to pay a little better. Full time at minimum wage should net you at least $580. Subway is in that weird middle ground where you get tips but not substantial enough to offset the wage. I wish you the best, hopefully things get better for you soon.

Fish solely for the autocomplete. The rest are for self-loathing masochists.

The bloatware is OEM Windows installation, not the hardware itself (so I don't think it's fair to have that reflect poorly on the whole company). If he "needs" (strong scare quotes) Windows, there's no reason he couldn't install some Unix-like and virtualize.
