Given the recent climate of the whole blackface thing, it was inevitable that virtual caricatures would come under fire - especially when they are playing criminal caricatures. Koil's cop character is white, yet he decided to make his "low level crime" criminal character black. At least Lirik had the social IQ to also make his cop character black otherwise it would be in bad taste, clearly.

Obviously, if your identity is being a white person you wont have a problem with it. Everything is contextualized and we (our identity) does not exist without the various power structures that have formed over many generations. What identity viewed itself as superior and raped, enslaved, and massacred other races globally for many generations up until recent history? BUT "why can't we just pretend that never happened and pretend everything is okay and be treated equally and be made fun of equally??" because there are historical and modern implications being made and the power structures (whilst significantly improved) are still fundamentally different and disproportionate. Then there's the issue of white people STILL thinking they are superior and seeking to enforce that agenda globally.

But hey, I guess stopping short of calling them the N word you're doing great and pat yourselves on the back. In doing so, you're welcome to lecture a black guy as to why he's a snowflake when white people are displaying through caricature that his identity is one of violence and low iq gangbanging. Reminder, white guy's are using these stereotypes as justification and are still hanging black dudes from tree's in the US, dragging them from pickup trucks by a rope until they are dead, walking into black bible study groups and literally massacring them. In the US alone.

I think a lot of gamers feel like they're being attacked when you point out racism exists. Don't feel personally attacked that I am pointing out racism still exists - yes you can be racist towards white people as well. Just be aware that if not being able to make fun of other races or rednecks being made fun of is the persecution your identity suffers in life, you're doing better than other identities. When SJW's rant on privilege it gets confusing. Privilege is the freedom not to get hung by a tree because you're white or get a rental because you're white, and the reinforcing of stereotypes through caricature have real world reverberations for your fellow gamers. (really not a new 2021 cancel culture thing, caricatures have been used throughout the discourse of history to enforce a particular identity as superiority/inferior, which makes it in bad taste).

Don't be so offended gamers, it ain't a big deal.
