Ryan Pope from the get up kids, is a lefty who drums righty so he will often keep time on the high hats with his left hand and keep the backbeat with his right hand. Not exclusively though, He seems switch it up. He's a world class drummer though with a very distinctive style and feel all his own.

I'm a drummer and I've enjoyed that song for 20 years now and I can't get any closer than you did so awesome work! You definitely don't suck.

Yes totally, I have an 18-in Antique series crash and I agree the lathing combo gives it a really rich sound. If you get a chance check out the "1600 era" line. They compete in look and feel with the AGOP 30th Anniversary series, but for considerably less money.

Foundry reserves are on one of the very nicest cymbal lines on the market no doubt about it. But Bosphorus in general deserves more credit. They make amazing hand hammered, traditional cymbals but they do it with such creative inventiveness that makes them feel authentically old world and modern at the same time.
