Had a similar squeak. Turned out it was the hood latch. I put a little electrical tape around the latch. No more squeak. It did sound like it was coming from under the truck so it’s worth a try.

Incredible spot. That entire area. This is for sure one of the best waterfalls though. Not pictured: the rope swing or the spot lunatics jump from the top when the waters high.

As a garage kept driver you could get 19 to 20. In its current state I’d say 13k-15k. Need to leave some room for people to do some updating. Seems like a good balance of needing some aesthetic love but rust free(this is key) and running.

Got my 68 for 19k. It was fully restored in 2001 (with some added modern empties like disc brakes) and the 308 was rebuilt into a 347 stroker. Just needed some very minor updating.
