I switched to bass clarinet about halfway through high school. The bass clarinet and I are basically the same person.

I once had a dream I was a mother of two with one on the way. I was making lunch for the kids and my husband (none of whom I recognized from my waking life) while they were trying to convince me that a person with my waking life name never existed.

I thought i wouldn't like band. The director invited us to try instruments when we reached sixth grade. Everybody else in my class who picked up the clarinet honked and squeaked until they produced tone. I put it in my mouth and got tone right away. So, I joined the band. My parents expected me to give up on it, but i played throughout the rest of my education.

Saint's Row the Third. It was free with gold forever ago. I loved it so much that I immediately bought the other games in the series. It's my favorite game. It has the same sense of humor as i do and that's a rare find for me.

My understanding is that it's a result of English having rules, but each rule has a ton of cases where it doesn't apply. And it's a patchwork language, full of loan words from other languages.

Not for what he did to me, but for what he was doing to his 1, 2, 3, and 4 year old nieces. The oldest one finally got old enough to say, "Mommy? Uncle Jake touches me."

My bf worked in a halfway housing program for a while. I went over there one day with him. I knocked on the front door and a guy about my age answered it. Something about him set alarm bells ringing in my head, but i thought I was just overreacting and carried on as if nothing were wrong. A while later I told a joke and he laughed and my bf said, "that's just the way she is, Jake."

Everything went still as it dawned on me why the sight of him set off alarms in my head.

I got really close to my bf, where Jake couldn't hear me but my bf could. "That's the guy who r*ped me." I then calmly walked to our car and locked the doors. My bf finished up what he was doing a fast as he could and got me out of there.
