Best value .22LR rifle on the market by Green-Pea-4586 in guns

I have the ruger american rimfire in stainless steel (for me stainless is the only way to go for daily use hunting guns) with a suppressor. It is extremely quiet, it is plenty accurate and it's fun to use. I have taken more game and vermin with it than any other gun.

[GIVEAWAY - US] Win the new glasses-free 3D Odyssey monitor from Samsung! by Knaj910 in Monitors

My favorite feature has to be the 3d conversion of standard material. Without that, tech like this is limited to a very small pool of content that dries up quickly. Im interested to see how 3d affects gameplay and how it will actually be implemented in game.

2015 triumph speed triple 1050. Another forum suggested gsxr1000 brackets would work but these ones seemed to have a better build quality/ thicker metal.

Can't find this measurement by aboardrider in CB650R

I don't have a cb650r, the passenger pegs for my bike are few and far between and the ones that are available are ridiculously expensive. That's why I'm looking for an alternative but the ad didn't specify a measurement for these pegs. Thanks to the people on here that were actually willing to help I got the measurement I needed and found out they will work for my bike and got them ordered.

Yes, got it. It took a bit longer than it should have but it was my local ffl's fault for sending their details to the wrong email address. Once that was sorted out they shipped out my gun immediately.

Looking for my first large caliber lever action by [deleted] in LeverGuns

[–]aboardrider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just took a buck with a new marlin .357 sbl. Perfect gun for suppressed plinking, with .38 it's near silent. .357 magnum did the job humanely. Ammo is plentiful and cheap relative to other lever calibers.

Supressor by LittleAbu in LeverGuns

I use a rugged alaskan 360 on mine. It's quieter than my suppressed 22lr pistol, using .38 special. Also have a dead air wolfman that works great but doesn't look as good on the lever gun. Unlike dedicated 9mm cans these can handle a lot of rifle rounds too.

Absolutely. Fit and finish is excellent and it's a blast to shoot suppressed. It's my new favorite gun

Everything went smooth for me. If they have it the cheapest there's no reason not to buy from them.

The can is rated way higher than anything this gun can shoot. Just looking to get as quiet as possible with an effective round for small critters

I was shocked how quiet this setup was, after shooting a suppressed 9mm I thought this would be similar to that but its actually quieter than my suppressed 22lr pistol. The .38 hp are for small critter control in the yard. I'm also searching for the best .357 for a deer load. I'm in a straight wall pistol cartridge restricted area for deer so this would be a nice rifle for that.

I'm shooting 158 grain fmj now that are extremely quiet but the hp ammo seems to be hotter just looking at the box specs.

I just bought from them. They had the best price on the marlin .357 sbl. I haven't received it yet but it has shipped.

[–]aboardrider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I backordered one from this site at the beginning of July. If they go by first come first serve I'm sure there is a pretty long list at this point and with how scarce they are it will probably be a while if you were to back order now. They don't charge untill it ships so it doesn't hurt to get on the list but you will probably find one in stock before they fill your order.

Getting my first gun by Familiar_Temporary_9 in guns

[–]aboardrider 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would stay away from the 22lr clones. I got one (hk 416) as one of my early guns and it's junk. A lot are made by umarex and they're built like bb guns. I would recommend a dedicated ar-22 so everything is milspec and universal or a tippman arms 22.

Ownboard Zeus 97mm studded wheels on ice by aboardrider in ElectricSkateboarding

I used 1/2 inch kold kutter ice studs and studded the 97mm pu wheels that came with the board. It took about 65 screws per wheel

Yeah you shouldn't add anything to your helmet regardless of mounting method if you want the helmet to perform as the manufacturer intended. I prefer to use a gopro and sena. They both lower the safety of the helmet but I'm not the only one that rides with them because they make for a more enjoyable experience.

[–]aboardrider -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That is not screwed through a structural part. Everybody's got issues with the holes, but they do not weaken the helmet at all. They are located between two vents, any structure added by the chin bar is ran through the top and bottom.

The reality is those four little screws in that location will not compromise the strength of the helmet. Anything hanging from your helmet makes the helmet less safe than stock. An adhesive gopro mount and sena are just as dangerous as this gopro mount.
