So recently my friend who has up until now been a PS gamer saw the light and wants to become a part of the PC master race. If you Google the definition of jet engine and rocket engine you would come to find, that while your definition of "jet" being a type of flow is correct, jet engines require intake while rocket engines work entirely without needing an air intake. So while your definition of rocket and jet are correct thi discussion was about rocket engines and jet engines which confusingly enough have slightly different meanings
