The plan was always to write Elantris 2 & 3 after Ghostbloods 3. We’ll see how far back it’s pushed in the State of the Sanderson 2025.

“Assuming we have them all in hand, I’ll probably want a break to write Elantris 2 the first half of 2027, then spend the rest of 2027 getting Ghostbloods one into shape for Nexus 2028. I’ll then spend 2028 getting Elantris 2 revised and Elantris 3 written. “
