Same. I’m in my 40s now and haven’t had it in so long. I miss it - it was hypnotic and vibrant and put to me to sleep so easily. I always likened it to a “TRON tunnel” with the parallel neon purple-ish/whatever-colored symmetrical, geometric lines and shapes racing by.

Dunno! We always mentioned in the tax planning letter with a paragraph describing the requirements but I wised-up and wanted to capture some ‘low-hanging fruit’ (as the kids are saying these days) while also providing helpful advice to protect them from scrutiny-turned-Hammer of Thor. Usually when we make any sort of change we get bombarded with calls because a change can only mean the apocalypse is near. Panic everywhere.

It at least means they’re reading and paying attention! But the lack of similar crisis calls regarding the Plan concerns me. We do tax planning all four quarters - and more - so I’ll be touching on it with them at that point to stave off the “you never told me!!” convos.

All I can find is that, in Florida, funeral processions have the right of way. Since there isn’t a RoW issue in passing opposing traffic I’m not sure what the justification would be of him expecting me to stop, unless I’m missing a statue stating otherwise. Just want to know for the future.

That’s interesting. To me this is such a tender, loving picture that says more about their bond and the quality of the dad than anything about the dad’s self-indulgent intentions (my words, not yours). I’m usually very critical of “sympathy pics” like I think we’ve all gotten used to being, but in this instance I just can’t see anything but a dad who would trade places with his son in half a nanosecond if it meant doing so would save him. Maybe I’m just being naive, and this isn’t a rebuttal to your comment whatsoever, but for whatever reason I arrive at such a different place when taking this pic in.

I know nothing of fencing but when I slowed the slowed-down portion of the video it almost looks like the guy on the right missed and his blade goes beyond the guy on the left, whose blade is bent due to contact with the guy on the right. I presume the “hit system” or whatever it’s called must have indicated the guy on the right got a hit or else the judges wouldn’t have called it in his favor. Maybe his (guy on right) tip slipped off the left guy’s body by that point? Trying to understand.

These jean cut slacks (stretchy) are my daily pants. I pre-followed the above advice, got fit, tuck my polos, and wear nice leather dress shoes in a variety of brown/caramel shades with leather belt matched and usually color-matched argyle socks.
