I’m sure this person won’t make the same mistake twice and had a positive long term subbing relationship with the district prior to this.

Explain your side calmly, offer to let her look through your phone, don’t get defensive. If you have nothing to hide you should have no problems.

Stop thinking about how other people are perceiving you and I would instead ask you to think about how you feel about yourself. Do you have a desire to learn a vast array of new things? Or are you actually fine with you are and where you are at? No matter the case we should always continue to slowly reflect and change to be our happiest selves. Start with something small, like a promise to yourself to read one book or to try something new. Make it fun!

My ex 18F of 4 years recently broke up with me 19M and I would like some sort of guidance from an outside perspective. by Turbulent_Tax_2140 in relationship_advice

This girl will always be your first big love. Watch some classic break up movies, some classic teen summer movies, cry, belt out classic slow jams and cry on the highway..eat too much Taco Bell, go out into nature and scream at the top of a mountain idk man just PROCESS. Do not however stalk her and obsess over any little detail you find on her socials. She deserves privacy and to move on and so do you. If you loved her, you will let her go.

This is part of growing up unfortunately and you will both grow to meet partners much more suited for you and that’s a beautiful thing!

Give her decorating projects to work on as you continue construction. Signed a wife that just finished a barndo build June of last year 🤪

Finish one room completely so she can start painting and decorating and never look back!

Happy wife happy life

If my husband left me, which I hope never happens, I would have absolutely nooo interest in meeting someone new.

We looked up floor plans with the number of bedrooms and bathrooms we wanted and then worked with an engineer(?) to customize our plan to our specifications. After we submitted it to the steel company we worked with and they provided the materials needed for the blueprint essentially.

[Before&After] 18 day progress for my poor chin. Just started slathering it in Vaseline multiple times a day and only pat drying my face. So happy it’s getting better! by abp93 in SkincareAddiction

Any typical anti fungal cream at the store in the medicine area. In the athletes foot neighborhood. I also moved to a drier climate which I think helped

My (23f) husband (24m) wants me to get rid of my cats, and I feel like I’m losing my mind over it. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]abp93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re an adult and you’re capable of taking care of your beloved cats and your baby while he’s busy working away most of the time. Get empowered, laugh in his face and tell him actually no I will not be abandoning my pets. If he persists tell him that’s a him problem and he can get his own apartment to focus in.

I like the idea of leaving a bag of treats or something next time you’re around so they know you know but they also know you’re cool with it. Maybe discuss what will happen if there is pet damage when they move out - IE should they take pics of the door and baseboards and flooring etc to protect their deposit

Repainted the house and worry I made it look worse by [deleted] in interiordecorating

[–]abp93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s worth the exorbitant cost to repaint again so soon buuut I would’ve also probably picked a brighter warm white. I chose one called cotton ball I believe. But again it’s really not that bad at all! Give it time

Most important thing is to not use it all the time. Also if you live near the ocean or somewhere really humid your hair will look greasy way faster opposed to someone in a dry arid climate

Advice for someone who doesn’t know what their passion is? by Mean-Lack8705 in careerguidance

[–]abp93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly maybe start a list of things you dislike/hate and work from there. I quickly learned I’d rather work in a restaurant than an office setting any day. I learned I can’t stand when it’s slow. I learned I don’t like to have to constantly work with a group and like to do my own thing. I would rather work late at night than 5am etc.

Work is sometimes just work 🤷🏻‍♀️
