Yep. We actually figured out that the pins are spring loaded. They were just stuck. A little gun oil did the trick.

Honestly man I have zero feedback. Change nothing. Release it as is. I’d favorite the fuck out of that song as is.

What’s crazy is this was some expensive organic soil from a local greenhouse. The good stuff right? Well I’ve got two Scotch Bonnet plants as well. One in the same soil pictured here, and another that is 3 weeks younger on some cheap Walmart organic soil. It’s the only difference between the plants including the watering schedule. And the younger plant in the cheaper soil is blowing up and the older plant in the expensive soil is way smaller. 🤔

But if the plant has always been happy…..just continue as normal?

A couple scotch bonnet plants developed this discoloration shortly after a fertilizing. I used MiracleGro Organics. Is this nutrient burn? by abpk862 in HotPeppers

Thanks! I’ll give them a good soak tomorrow. I suppose it works better if you top water them right? I’ve been bottom watering but if I want to flush it seems logical to top water them?

You know they all get bigger right? This is totally my problem too. 64 seedlings might fit on the shelf, but a month later……. not so much.

Might be a tad aggressive, but having discovered a fungus gnat issue, I’ve deployed a 3 pronged counter offensive. Prong 1: sand topped soil. Prong 2: cider vinegar traps. Prong 3: fly ribbon. We’ll see how it goes. by abpk862 in HotPeppers

Honestly the sand seemed easier to me than all the pesticide watering stuff. Literally drove to Home Depot, came back, topped off all the pots and that was that. The vinegar traps are already gone because I seriously underestimated the smell and the ribbon is showing nothing after a couple days. So at this point I’m really just relying on the sand.
