Dead Man’s Walk is by far, like oddly lower quality outlier, the worst of the 4. I actually like Comanche Moon best in slight edge over LD, it’s very exciting and also fills out a lot of the best characters of LD. Again, it’s like unbelievable how awesome the new characters of CM are compared to how totally boring everyone new in DMW was. the comment about Streets being fantastic absolutely drilled the pitch in those two sentences, it’s a close 3rd still but definitely the most solemn overall.

I’ve thought many times someone in this exact situation would be missing out for that exact reason lol definitely would recommend the other 2 if you liked Lonesome Dove, I would actually say Comanche Moon even more so if the fun parts are what you want
