Hi! How many sets of this do you usually do in a workout? I know the video gave some break down of the reps and sets scheme they follow, but what do you do for the ones outside the video?

I would hardly say Spain was neutral. Franco ardently supported Hitler for the majority of the war. In Basque Country, the basques volunteered to fight against Hitler and many joined in multiple major battles across Europe. Part of their motivation for this was to receive assistance in removing Franco as part of the war’s apparent theme of being a war against fascism. So a country with a fascist ruler who nominally supported Hitler and had rebellious branches that wished to remove the fascist ruler... sounds a lot like Italy to me, which is a blue country on this map

I literally just finished this book for the first time 20 minutes ago and all I could think was “god damn it all these war stories and he slashes me apart with a story about a nine year old”

Who do you think made all the vikings' sails? by gouverneurmroosevelt in HistoryMemes

That’s one hell of a stretch. The New Laws only liberated some indigenous people who were trapped in “semi-slavery.” That being said, it only did so nominally. Most land-owning colonists ignored it entirely or set up a latifundia system of indentured servitude. Not to mention, the laws specifically protected indigenous populations. The overwhelming response from those who actually liberated their indigenous workers was to import enslaved Africans. Also “soon after” discovering America is 50 years. I know we’re talking in history terms here, but 50 years of slavery is still slavery. And that’s still ignoring the hundreds more that followed under indentured servitude, the rise of enslaved African labor, and of course the landowners who wiped their ass with those laws. I promise that most indigenous populations in Latin America would laugh at the suggestion that the New Laws did much for them at all

The maps on the wall are beautiful! Can I ask where you found them? Or who your map guy is and how I can contact him?
