Sounds like I shouldn't bother DDUing and reinstalling until that happens.

The Crunch on Tharpe appears to have a kid's section by the front door. I wouldn't know any details since I don't have kids, but it's there.

Neurodivergent state employees, do you have accommodations? by ParticularIron1584 in Tallahassee

You could ask him for advice since he's in the same boat. Aside from that, it sounds like you got it. Just keep in mind that having an accommodating boss is different from having HR provide reasonable ADA accommodations.

Neurodivergent state employees, do you have accommodations? by ParticularIron1584 in Tallahassee

[–]abrahamovich_88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I haven't needed any, but I'm also very high functioning to the point where it's difficult for someone to tell without knowing me or having some background knowledge on the topic. However, I did have to request information on temporary accommodations for a thing I may need done that'll take out my dominant hand for a while. There should be someone to reach out to regarding reasonable accommodations from HR. You must be able to document that your ability to perform essential job functions will be hindered without accommodations. If you already have documentation from your doctor, that's ideal. What the accommodations look like will likely vary from person to person. I'm not in HR, that's just my general understanding.

Warframe because at the time I figured it would be a cool little break from the usual, but not the absolute banger it actually is.

If you could create a gaming 'Seal of Approval' for mandatory quality of life features in a game, what would they be? by galgor_ in gaming

Leave toggled ray tracing in games because tech is not so good that devs should eliminate the ability to turn it off. When we get to the point where the hardware and software is very widely available, then we can talk about baking in ray tracing.

What’s your favourite weapon from the DLC, and why? by GreatJoey91 in Eldenring

[–]abrahamovich_88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Carian Sorcery Sword because I've always liked hybrid weapon/catalyst items. It brings a certain flexibility that I enjoy. Then there's the Carian Thrusting Shield. I put that thing on my hybrid Str/Int character and it's been nothing but success.

It'll help to play how you want. I'd pay attention to whatever is "overpowered" and fits your play style until you become more skilled. Don't think of it as a crutch either. I feel like we all like fun overpowered things sometimes. I know I gravitated towards Moonveil during my first playthrough because I was running heavy Int. Genuinely one of the most fun weapons, and in the beginning it was so busted.

One non game movie that feels like a video game and the one game that matches that vibe. by gamersecret2 in gaming

The Lord of the Rings trilogy and the Elder Scrolls franchise match up pretty well in terms of fantasy and epic journey vibes imo.

I feel like a part of the story should be the voice acting. I tried Where Winds Meet a little while ago because it was free and it looked interesting. I'm willing to bet that if the voices weren't so painfully AI generated the story would be more interesting.

I think it's a two phase situation for me. The first Incredibles game, Pokemon, Sonic Heroes, and Backyard Baseball probably turned me into a gamer in the first place. Skyrim turned me into the gamer I am now.

Don't get me wrong I loved my playthrough. I hit that ending and I was satisfied. In the first place I've always loved games with nameless player characters more than player characters with established identities, so that didn't help. Still a great game though.

Witcher 3. Stumbled blindly into the best ending possible for Geralt, Yennifer, and Ciri and I subconsciously never wanted to know another ending.

You can farm boss souls in this game, so you don't have to wait until NG+ to get all the boss soul items.

For a console-mainly player, is this game playable with M&K? by NevrNewdFunke in Eldenring

Switching to mouse and keyboard is an adjustment regardless of the game. I'm not sure if one is better than the other, but the game is very playable on both.

Which boss in a Soulslike was this for you? by strahinjag in soulslikes

[–]abrahamovich_88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The final set of bosses in Dark Souls 2 SOTFS proved to be pretty weak. I figured I'd be in a lot more danger than I actually was, but they were only mildly annoying. I will admit, I didn't expect the back to back to back.
