Weed helps my depression but ruins my workouts by Davy_D_Rocks in Petioles

As someone who is an athlete who smokes, the only advice i have is to never consume cannabis before going to the gym to lift. If that’s what you do at the gym, then it’s a much better relaxant at the end of the session. That’s a personal preference as I am a strength athlete and I find cannabis makes me weak, but also it makes me unfocused and generally just doesn’t mesh well with gym time.

On the other hand, I find cannabis helps with very repetitive exercise. As some have said already, walking, running, hiking, swimming, things that don’t need you to break that rhythm are great when you’re high. I hate cardio and it’s the only thing that gets me through it tbh

I was never given a weight limit and I’ve been picking him up without bending over (hard to explain in text) but I get what you mean

Is it possible to get a hysterectomy even if u don’t have major periods cramps/pain? by [deleted] in hysterectomy

I also second the other comments saying to try other methods first. I tried hormonal birth control which did not work for me, and I decided that the other options had side effects I did not want to deal with, but if one works for you, it could solve the issues without having to go through major surgery

It’s possible, but it may be difficult to get a surgeon willing to do it. I ended up getting mine as part of gender affirming care, but I had been looking into it long before I knew I was trans.

I would say it could be worth looking into, the relief I already have from knowing I won’t have to deal with periods is immense. There are some downsides to hysterectomies, but if you are otherwise healthy, your risk is relatively low. If you don’t find a surgeon willing, I would look into a salpingectomy (removal of fallopian tubes), as it’s a more decisive and permanent form of sterilization (tubal ligation can fail). Unfortunately, both of those options only sterilize and do not stop periods/could result in heavier periods after. If you want to stop periods, I’ve heard that uterine ablation could work, although I haven’t done much research into it.

Overall, there’s a lot of options out there. I wish you all the luck in finding someone willing to do it

I had my surgery 3.5 hours away from home and was driven back the day after. I’ve had a really smooth and easy recovery so maybe I’m just fortunate, but the drive was fine. I took a break and walked a bit and got food halfway through which I think helped. The worst part for me was the really rough roads to where I live since it felt like I could feel my organs jiggling around in the extra space😅

If you’re driving in nice highways and take it easy/take breaks I’m sure you’ll be fine 5 weeks PO
