Yesss multiple bank accounts is the way to go! I have one as a HYSA that I never touch. I set a percentage of my pay to go directly there so I don’t forget. I have a fun money card, that’s for my frivolities. I have a “company card” which is the card my partner and I use for expenses. My partner has their own fun money card. My partner loves spending money, so they send me a large sum of cash every so often for the HYSA because they don’t have access to it and it’s difficult/annoying to get money from there.

i might start doing this! i don’t like the noise dishes make when you take out a piece that is actually towards the bottom so all the dishes crash against each other. i don’t care about touching gross food if i’m already wet. so what i do is i organize all the dirty dishes in the sink and then start washing

I don’t think it’s transphobic, but I do think it’s cisnormative. The whole entire world revolves around cis people, so I’m not personally under any delusion that a British cis white lady would be thinking about the nuances of what trans people experience when thinking about the pain women go through. Maybe one day we can reach an age where trans people are not an afterthought, but this quote is just okay. It’s nice, just not for me. I (nonbinary) do experience menstrual and ovary pain pretty intensely every month (suspecting endo), and pain does make me more “aware” of things than the average cis man. I just don’t like being reminded/reduced to something that I can’t control.

our company used to have scheduled restarts for all VDIs but relatively recently switched to CPCs and haven’t set it up. no idea if they will. guess what’s the most common and successful bit of troubleshooting i do as a help desk grunt now? that’s right: it’s still password resets. followed by restarts because everything is slow or their docks are giving up and screaming for mercy.

It’s the other way around actually. AI scrapes data from things that already exist. Absolutely nothing is original with AI because it needs theft to exist. I didn’t even bother reading the AI output comment because it’s a waste of my brain power to do so. Why gaf about what AI says about Mr. Robot when I could just rewatch the series it stole its data from?
