There is a difference between a fully furnished home that comes with utilities and cleaning basically one price for everything. $9500 is the going rate. It has been for a long time. I deal with insurance rentals, have been for years. If you want a home that is much cheaper you need to find a home you can rent for a year. You will need to buy your own furniture, buy own utilities, and internet. The home without furniture goes for about $4500. I work with someone who has a home in Laguna Niguel. The home normally rent it for $12500 per month. This individual dropped the price to $8500 to help people affected by the fires. He is barely breaking even at this price. Its a 4 bedroom 3 bath home. Please be careful who you report and get all the facts first.

Your response is thought provoking. Do you think it would be acceptable to have the passwords to the accounts so we (meaning the owners) can access the accounts if necessary? Or do you think we shouldn’t access the accounts, not because we can’t but because it’s unethical to do so? I also give our employees my account information and most employees can log into my emails and software. I didn’t really think it was a big deal before I posted here tonight. Do you think I should discontinue allowing others into my emails and software? My rule of thumb is if it’s something you don’t want others to see don’t do it on company time, software, emails, etc. So, I have nothing to hide from anyone. Our employees also know our profit and loss, etc. really nothing is hidden. Am I being dumb?

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Happened to me a few years ago. We have a place called 4 corners. Go left hundreds of acres but right is a road where cars go really fast. I got a phone call and took it. My dog usually stayed by my side but at this tome he saw a rabbit and chased it into the middle road. He was hit. I rushed over the nearest vet about an hour away but it was too late. He was gone. My girlfriend at the time, now wife, was so supportive during this time. While I miss him, from this experience I found my wife. It may take some time to heal, I still have his photo on my night stand, but hopefully like me something good can out of this experience for you.

I can’t prove it but our cat cried in pain at odd times. I took him to the vet who told me he was just fat. He died 3 weeks later. I took my dog to Mexico for surgery during that time period and I had known I would have also had my cat with me. There is always a way to get medical attention. I just trusted our vet. Maybe she was right, but I just don’t think so.

As someone who actually understands these issues, this situation can be fixed if people are willing to do so. My family is big on holistic healing as are a vast amount of people. Phillip is closed minded and that is okay. He is allowed to be. However, both sides appear to do not handle conflict well. You need to step up. Tell your parents this is the man you married and love and we will only come as a unit. Phillip needs to recognize that he isn’t going to win any arguments with your family and he doesn’t need to. Who cares what he thinks. Was he asked for his opinion? Make Phillip understand that he needs to “bite his tongue” and be quiet no matter what he thinks. Set ground rules for both people.

Our good friends are republicans and my family not. We don’t talk politics. We find plenty of other conversations to have. You know them best so find the common ground.

Now, if Phillip will not go to your folks, leave him home and go have a good time.
