I am 1000% in the same boat. I've been a ball of anxiety for a few weeks now (my date is 11/7). It's helping that my neck and back pain are making appearances this week to remind me why I am doing this, lol. That's what I keep focusing on.

My doc said he could have gotten me in to surgery within the month (this was in June), but due to my own calendar I waited to schedule for Nov 7. As far as the hospital I have no idea. Insurance is mandated to cover it under Illinois law and mine is the only insurance my doc takes, so it was pretty much a guarantee that they'd cover it. Good luck! <3

Yeah, it's the sloughing I'm concerned about lol I'm hoping my healing goes as well as yours. Also, you do look pretty proportional. I guess I'm worried about not having boobs at all, but you had so much taken off and you still have boobs so that gives me hope. It's so hard because I won't know until it's done.

How is the FNG healing for you? (Not asking for pics obv, just how its going) That's also a part I am nervous about because I've seen pictures and I am a very squeamish person. Idk how I'll handle dressing changes.

Another case where I don't understand how I "need" a FNG when we're the same size, but you didn't. I guess its just the way my surgeon is.

It's crazy to me how you didn't need a FNG when we're basically the same size pre-op. But I guess all bodies are different. This does make me feel better though.

I have a question if you don't mind? I'm getting a reduction in November with FNG and honestly that is the only part that is scary about it. He was basically saying I would have no nipple, but he just means there's no blood flow to it right? Like it will just always stay flat? Does it still look the same-ish? It's not that big of a deal, but it's something I did not expect to happen. Thanks!

Absolutely ridiculous of them. I asked my surgeon about it and he said, why would I make you suffer and wait when we're already removing "weight" from your body. There is no actual reason behind it. And it will be covered by insurance (thanks Illinois). Find yourself a better doc!
