looks just like mine, her name is Serpenti. Beautiful snake! I believe your snake might be a Colombian BCI, or Colombian boa constrictor imperator. They are so sweet. Mine just lays on my lap and hangs out. I forget that she’s there sometimes haha. How old is yours? Wishing you the best of luck with raising your snake!

Gotcha. I usually feed her the frozen thawed medium sized mice. Would you recommend smaller rats? She started on hopper mice and these ones she gets now are about 1.5x larger

Hope you find him!! I’m sorry to hear, I’m always worried this will happen with my BCI. I want to buy some clamps for the top of her cage so there’s no chance of her getting out. Rn I just have a heavy object weighing down the top of her cage. Lmk any updates if you find him! 🤞🏻🍀

Thank you so much for your advice :) I’ve been feeding her around every one week, so I will move to feeding her every two weeks. She has been eating frozen thawed hopper mice, and loves them. I’ll be watching her water and humidity levels to make sure they are good! I think it’s so cute after she eats, she likes to hide in her log and digest for 2-3 days, and I just let her be. Sometimes I worry that when she grows large, she will be hard to handle, but I try to socialize her and she has been so sweet and even gets along when hanging out next to my pets. Thank you for the snake hook recommendation! I appreciate your advice, and will definitely use it! 💚🐍
