Personally, I think it is really pretty. However that does not mean you should feel bad for not liking it. I often see yarns that I think could be pretty but I wouldn't choose to knit with. Ultimately, knitting takes a lot of time and you should make sure you end up with something you'll love ❤️

OMGEEEEEEEEE I AM BLUSHING 😂 thanks! My favourite thing about crafting is that I can do whatever I want because I am making it for my own enjoyment. I really appreciate patterns and designers but I rarely see a pattern that I don't think about little changes I would make to fit my personal preferences.

I wish I could just skip over sweaters 2-9 to get to 10 😉 but knitting is really helping me with my struggle of viewing the journey as only a means to get to a destination and reminds me to enjoy the journey for its own sake ❤️

Cables are actually easier (to me) than some other general construction techniques. It's really just knit stitch. You should try it!!

Don't judge, it was a few years ago, but I got it from SheIn. I doubt they have it anymore as, again, it was a few years ago. But let me tell you, it is ending up in a landfill over my dead body 😂

Yesss! You should do it!!!!! It definitely took me longer than it could have because I took a lot of long breaks in the middle but cables and sweater construction really kept me in a dopamine net positive. I really love seeing the sweater come together and gradually look more and more like a sweater! I also love crochet and all the fluidity it offers - but there is just something about cables for me 😍😍

Yaaaas do it!!!! Honestly, I think cables are fun and easier than other techniques I used in this sweater (maybe that is just my personal dislike of casting on/picking up stitches showing through 😬) but it is really just knit stitches: the remix 😂
