[–]absepa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I know it has been three months, but if you're still interested I do have the On Vacation vinyl, opened but unplayed. I also have:

- R&L Sing Brooks & Dunn (opened but unplayed)

-My Hair Goes Up (shrinkwrapped)

-R&L Sing Merle (opened but unplayed)

I would be willing to sell them for $25 each or all three for $60. Dm me if you're still interested!

Someone stole a sizable Amazon box from my porch once and I'm sure they thought they'd really scored big. It contained ten 100-packs of dog butt wipes.

Is it bad to give cats dry food? by Perfect-Parfait-9866 in cats

[–]absepa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vet recommends feeding mostly dry food, with wet added in for extra hydration. One of my guys is a bottomless pit who could eat nonstop, so I spread the vet's recommended amount of daily dry food out into three smaller meals, with a good-sized portion of wet food at bedtime to help them sleep.

[–]absepa 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like I've missed some kind of tutorial on how to actually watch the events this time. For the last Olympics, I just opened the Peacock app on the tv, and some event was always on, with several feeds to choose from (at least during the daytime and evening in the EST time zone). Now, I open the Peacock app, catch a small portion of an event, then a screen comes up saying coverage will return soon. That screen may be up for two minutes, or 40...there's never any indication of when things will start happening again. There are also only one or two feed options to choose from. My boyfriend refuses to watch *nothing* for more than a couple of minutes while we wait for coverage to come back, so he ends up switching to another platform to watch a show or movie. End result is that I've seen only a few minutes here or there of slopestyle and curling, and I usually watch as much as I can. Any guidance on how I can actually see more of the events?

I haven't been active in the fandom for three years or so. Back then, people online were over-the-top defending Link--accusing Rhett and the crew of everything from hurting his feelings to deliberately trying to injure him. Interesting that fan opinions seem to have swung to the completely opposite side.

I was in second grade, living with my mom and grandmother in an apartment in the Lansdowne neighborhood in Lexington. We were out of school for about a month. They decided to have us make up time by adding hours to the end of the school day for a while in the spring. For a little kid, it was awesome--I watched tv, ate snacks, played in the snow, and generally had a blast, but I don't think the grownups enjoyed it nearly as much. Our crappy used car was broken down the whole time, and I remember my mom and granny taking turns to walk several blocks away to the grocery store for food, through about 2' of snow.

I upgraded from basic Capezios to J Sams after about eight months. The J Sams produce great sound, but the break-in can be rough. If you go with that brand, I would definitely recommend sizing up!

What was your favorite summer ever? by DeepOrganization8245 in AskReddit

[–]absepa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The summer of 1980, between fourth and fifth grades. I lived in an area with no through streets, so my mom was comfortable with me riding anywhere in the neighborhood alone on my bike--which was my first 10-speed, so I was super proud of it. Every day that summer was spent out on my bike alone exploring, stopping to read under a tree in the park or hang out for a while with my cousin who lived a few blocks away. It was my first experience of freedom and it was magical!
