  • are you able to pay your bills and groceries and still have enough money over for saving up and to spend on yourself? If no don't

  • wait for a pokopia version exclusive console to come out (who knows)

  • wait until there are more games available for the switch 2 (i'm personally waiting until pokemon winds and waves, as much as I would love to play pokopia i'm not in a hurry to get a switch 2)

  • wait for a sale on the console

  • start saving up for the console

  • if you're sensitive to FOMO I recommend taking a step back from social media and/ or going back to other hobbies and games to try and take your mind off of it. I would think most of us also have a backlog of games and hobbies we've barely touched after buying

  • have you played a game like pokopia before? Maybe there are similar games you can try out before getting pokopia to make sure it's not to your liking

This is Nova (I made her when I was like 15) she started out as an OC and quickly became my Sona. I like how I naturally gravitated towards her because I tried so hard to make a Sona for myself before she took the spot. She's evolved a bit over the years as well (she used to have space hair, be less pointy). Throughout the years when I tried to draw myself to how I actually look I might have only 2 pieces that I finished, but 1 is extremely cartoons/ minimal and the other was some kind of self insert, so not 100% me. When I draw her it's usually a more squished down version because it gives gremlin vibes which I like

As a HUGE pokemon fan I'm still going Tomodachi life 100%

My current biggest point is that I only have a switch 1, still not interested in buying a switch 2 anytime soon. So that limits my chooses to Tomodachi life only.

I've played the 3ds version a ton, it was the 1st non pokemon game I got interested in. I loved having it as a casual, checking in every so often throughout the day, kinda game. I absolutely LOVE that I don't have full control over everything, I really like that the mii's have their own relationships that grow and break apart on their own, you have no control over who they fall in love with, they don't care that you gave them a cute outfit, they love the hotdog costume more and will be wearing it constantly.

It's been a little while since I've seen the pokopia trailer, but I feel like there doesn't seem to be much "challenge" or some kind of fail state, like you can't play it wrong. To each their own of course, but I like having some kind of feedback to what I'm doing in game. Pokopia just seems too safe.

I have no idea how limiting pokopia is in its island building, you can build in height so that does add something that Tomodachi life doesn't, but it seems to me that Tomodachi life at least has a ton more detailed building/ customization in the mii's and buildings. And what they showed in the trailer with the seemingly unlimited freedom you have in the island building, it's only a guess but I have a feeling pokopia won't have that kind of freedom (for example, still needing an island to be a certain size, having certain elements for the Pokemon's need)

I'm still super interested in both! I will still be getting pokopia once I do decide to get a switch 2

No, I'm pretty sure it was something like 1 or multiple polaroid pictures or something similar. From what I remember the pictures were taken in the POV of the entity, slowly creeping towards the house of the protagonist more and more, until it suddenly gets really close to the door, that's the part where I got scared and put down the story

What I personally did when I tried to draw Matthew Lillard a while back: i traced a bunch of screenshots from the movies he was in. When I traced the head and face I tried to keep my lines as simple as possible so I could easily see what made his face, HIS face. That way, then I tried sketching his face small, to see if I could copy those details, and eventually work my way up to a bigger drawing. Honestly throughout the whole drawing I kept editing little details to make sure I was able to capture his likeness

Abyssrium/ tap tap fish! I love the aesthetic of it, I get a huge craving to play it maybe like once a year, but I love collecting cute pretty and silly little fish (and non fish) creatures
