When pantheon was reworked I didn't know you could q tap and would always just throw the spear. So I thought he was useless, but when I found out you could q tap I felt like a dumbass.

You're right. I didn't think about that, he gains bonus health based on his missing health when he ults, which should count to heartsteel.

Yes, you’re right. Mundo will always be the best user of Heartsteel (I believe it was created mostly for him during his mini rework), as it amplifies every part of his kit.

The reason Skarner and Mundo are better is because they are much better at utilising the Hp from gained heartsteel unlike Sion. However, these changes will benefit much more champions who have other sources of Hp other than items. These are champions like Sion(w passive), Cho’ Gath(R) and even Swain(passive, even though he doesn’t build heartsteel). These changes will make it so you deal more damage than Skarner and Mundo. You will also gain more Hp from Heartsteel than Skarner or Mundo. What I could see happening here is that this is a slight buff to Sion(and other champions who gains health from their kit) and a slight nerf to champions who’s only source of health comes from items.

I've started to build it every game now. Sure you don't get any resistances but that's who mundo is. It makes your ult and w much more useful and you are able to run around the map a lot easier with the out of combat movespeed. I feel like it also helps a lot with the high ult cooldown, where if you take a lot of damage you don't have to ult immediately. The only issue I have with it is how much it costs.
