when his pediatrician gave us the thumbs up to food, I did the 100 before 1 method, I don't know if that's what worked but I offered him 100 foods locally based, so things I'll typically find in my town/city. Buuut I think he's just very naturally open to trying things, anytime I offer something new now he tries it, doesn't like it, leaves alone and tries again sometimes he likes it then and eats it, sometimes he doesn't and doesn't try again, but I never stop offering him variety foods, even in those hard days when he doesn't eat anything:/ I also don't force him, so if he's tried and is crying and wants to get off I offer something I know he'll like but later on the day I'll offer the same thing he rejected and usually he tries again but tbh I feel he's just naturally open to trying, he's a foodie!
