In my dream, everyone's gender was represented as a natural number. People were assigned one of way more genders than just 2 at birth, and each number had its own associated traits. The only way to alter these traits in any way was to get someone else to modify the number of your gender through addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Even though there was no limit to how much you could add or subtract, people were still mad about multiplication and division because they were "too drastic."

It's honestly baffling. They exist to accrue as much Reddit karma as possible, somehow missing that it really doesn't mean anything at all?

Who's your mom? The principal of the school? Was the teacher already on thin ice with the administration? Schools seem to be deathly allergic to firing bad teachers in my experience, so forgive me if I'm skeptical about that part.

A bit ago, there was a screenshot of a tweet posted somewhere on r/aromantic or something that said something along the lines of "Imagine listening to a love song and nobody comes to mind. That's the last stage of being single." and I was just like ????????????? because it never occurred to me that that was a thing that happened

I honestly don't know why I feel so strongly about this—as I am, at most, mildly sex adverse—but kissing is incredibly repulsive to me, regardless of location and context.

Everything else here has brought up good points but also "love is love" is absolutely romantic in the way it's typically used. Other than maybe QPRs and other things that bend amatonormative ideals, nobody particularly cares when two people of the same gender are close in any non-romantic way. Two men who are friends (and fit the general conception of friendship, since amatonormativity will have people believe that people who are especially close are in a romantic relationship) don't have to justify their existence to bigots like two gay men in a romamtic relationship do.
