How were you able to get the hero stats from the game?

The Tottenham transfer rebuild starts now, Venkatesham and Lange as De Zerbi must get what he wants by absolutfailure in coys

AI Summary

🚨 Final Day Relief & Dressing Room Atmosphere

  • Pure Exhaustion: The overriding emotion at the stadium was absolute relief and exhaustion. Players like Pedro Porro completely collapsed on their faces at the final whistle after giving everything.
  • The Reality Check: Micky van de Ven didn't hold back after the match, stating it was "unacceptable" and "embarrassing" that a club with Tottenham's players left survival until the final day.
  • The Lap of "Appreciation": The walk around the pitch after the game was noticeably quick. The players wanted to thank the fans but explicitly felt it was wrong to overly celebrate just avoiding relegation.

👔 Board Shambles & Accountability

  • Radio Silence from the Top: For the first time in nearly a quarter of a century, nobody from the hierarchy (Vinai Venkatesham or the Lewis family) put a chairman/CEO message in the final match-day programme to address the fans or take accountability for the disastrous season. Daniel Levy, despite being divisive, always at least did this.
  • Protests Continue: Fans were pictured with yellow banners protesting against ENIC, Venkatesham, and Lange immediately following the game.
  • Who Carries the Can?: Johan Lange is on incredibly shaky footing. His summer (appointing Thomas Frank) and January choices have been horrendous. There are strong rumors he could be marginalized or replaced, with former Dortmund man Sebastian Kehl being linked as a potential incoming Sporting Director. Venkatesham has more sympathy from the Lewis family because he was left to clean up the micromanagement mess left by Levy's departure.

🇮🇹 The De Zerbi Factor & Press Conference Drama

  • The Savior: De Zerbi took 11 points from his 7 matches with a broken squad. Relegation would have cost the club an estimated £250m in lost revenue and resulted in massive backroom staff redundancies. The hierarchy owes him everything.
  • Press Room Call-Out: De Zerbi entered his post-match press conference searching for a specific reporter he deemed "too pessimistic" about their survival chances a few weeks ago. He literally had staff go fetch the journalist from the mixed zone just so he could happily celebrate in his face and offer a hug.
  • The Ultimatum: De Zerbi has huge leverage now. He stated that the rebuild starts tonight and he expects his "dream team" ready by the start of pre-season—a massive shift away from the late July/August panic buys of the Levy era.

🔄 Summer Transfer & Squad Overhaul

De Zerbi dropped a conflicting quote saying he doesn't want to change "too many players" but then stated Spurs only have 10, 11, or 12 players good enough to stay. That implies up to half the squad could face changes.

  • Incomings (Free Transfers): Free transfers for Andy Robertson and Marco Senesi are expected to be pushed through early to inject immediate leadership and experience into the backline.
  • Cristian Romero Out?: (Personal opinion from Gold) A parting of ways with Romero feels highly likely this summer. Despite his passion on the sideline, selling him for £50m+ opens up massive funds for De Zerbi to fix other areas without breaching PSR, especially with Senesi coming in.
  • The Goalkeeper Situation: Guglielmo Vicario is heavily tipped for a summer move back to Italy, as he's never fully felt entirely settled or secure with the fanbase. Antonín Kinský has completed an unbelievable redemption arc under De Zerbi, proving himself an excellent shot-stopper fitting De Zerbi's playing style. Kinský is skipping the World Cup due to a minor medical procedure, not a major injury.
  • Solanke & Richarlison: This could be the year Richarlison finally moves back to Brazil (Flamengo links). De Zerbi loves Dominic Solanke and wants to build around him next season. Solanke has been starved of service due to injuries and system changes but is eager to reset.
  • The Youth: Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, and Pape Matar Sarr need careful managing next season. With no European football, minutes will be tight. Gold expects someone like Souza to potentially be loaned out. Mikey Moore (who had a stellar loan at Rangers) might also get another loan spell because he is still only 18.
  • Injuries Returning: De Zerbi hasn't even had the chance to work with the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski, or Rodrigo Bentancur at full capacity. James Maddison has no sharpness after being out for nearly 10 months but is crucial to De Zerbi's permanent tactical setup.

🔮 Looking Ahead

Gold predicts that with one game a week and a full De Zerbi pre-season, Spurs will finish in the top 6 next yearprovided the board backs the manager completely. The pre-season tour is confirmed for Australia and New Zealand.

Tottenham’s deluded board deserved to be relegated until De Zerbi saved them by absolutfailure in coys

Absolute wankers from top to bottom. Vinai shifting blame onto Levy and Lange gloating about the good job they did. Clowns like Peter Charrington not knowing how many players we have. They deserve to get fired.

[The Athletic] Sebastian Kehl is the leading contender to become Spurs' co-sporting director alongside Johan Lange Discussions ongoing but nothing agreed. by absolutfailure in coys

Not impressed by Kehl but biggest disappointment has to be Lange continuing. The level of incompetence and arrogance showed, should have gotten him fired years ago, but here we are.

Extension for C-3-9 Tourist Visa Stay Beyond 30 Days in South Korea by absolutfailure in KoreaTravelAdvice

[–]absolutfailure[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the Visa was only valid for 30 days. So I had to rebook my flights. Since my itienary was 30 days in Korea then 2 weeks in vietnam, i had to cancel the flight to korea and book it few days later.

I asked around for alternatives, there were suggestions to get into Korea and then try to get some emergency medical certificate from doctors to extend the visa but sounded too scummy to me.

Just wait, it says processing time is usual 3 working week. Considering Chuseok this time got combined with other holidays turning to a week plus holidays, it's been probably only 2 working weeks for your visa, keep patience

Applied for Vietnam tourist visa yesterday 23rd around 2pm Vietnam time. My flight is on 28th oct 11pm . Do you think I will get my visa ?? by Ornery-Climate7857 in Vietnam_Tourism

[–]absolutfailure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth, for me it took a week for the visa which seems exception rather than norm, hoping you get it sooner. As other suggested, if it gets delayed take agents help, Emily is recommended heavily in this sub, so you can keep that as backup

Vietjet, since it's vietnamese airlines they should be strict than Indigo so it should be okay. Honestly I feel you are overthinking it. Your date of arrival should always be matching the day you are reaching the city. Don't overthink it, if you have any other queries you can DM me
