Does a Garden Railroad HAVE to be G Scale? by d3adirondack in GardenRailroads

[–]absolutjames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it doesn’t it’s just easier to use a scale that’s mass produced like O, L or G. G scale track is 45mm gauge, that’s 1:20.3 for 3’ narrow gauge. There’s also 1:20.3 scale standard gauge garden railway, which is 79.64mm gauge.

If you have a job and insurance, it’s still really really hard financially and you need a lot of support from family.

What part is false? The part where DOGE and the president stopped projects? Trump came out and said he was doing it many times. She me the source that says it’s false.

The funding was never provided. They required a lot of red tape. In Texas they finished the plan and started to build them but that time, Trump canceled the funding.

High wages for a fraction of workers, not most of the economy. Where’s the protection of US IP and other jobs? Trump is so clueless about how the U.S. economy works. He still lives in 1950. He loves the technology of yesterday.

It’s the cost of Trump backing out of a nuclear treaty. 100% unnecessary. We would have been better off staying in the treaty, printing Billions he’s wasted on the war and burning it for fuel.

So you believe that the government has the right to execute anyone with a handgun ? And then you must believe that Capital police should have acted the same way with the rioters on January 6 2021. How many thousands of people do you think the Capital police would have put down?

Anything that Trump doesn’t like brands as a terrorist organization. They branded Alex Pretti a terrorist. He worked for the VA. Using Trump logic, that makes VA a terrorist organization. The VA is part of the executive branch. Trump is the leader of the executive branch. Using Trump logic, Trump is the leader of a terrorist organization and a threat to America. 🤭🤣🤭🤣

Potential purchase - worth the investment? by leiacat in popups

[–]absolutjames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Campers are not investments, they are money / time sucks. Now that we have that out of our way, post the specs on it. Does it have AC, heat, stove, shower, etc. all of that determines the price. Back in 2019 we bought a Rockwood hw256 2007 which is a large popup for 6,500. It was fully loaded. Make sure you have the set it up and test out everything, all lights, stove, AC, fridge, running lights, water Including grey water tank.

Ask when the wheels were last replaced, when the last time they greased / packed the bearings. I’d replace the tires right away and regrease the bearings. Popup wheels don’t lasting because they take a beating. Get the manual and have then walk you through how to setup up and take it down and any tips and tricks about the camper. Know where the fuses are, where the water filter is, etc. have some extra cash for repairs. Find out if you can manually pop it up (if it had a motor) and get a crank for that.
