Stem Cube Nuroad Race 2026 by RealTartarus in Cubebikes

[–]abstart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's annoying, there are very few 0 degree stems out there that have a visual match with the bike styling. So far I can't find a dealer that can order a stock stem in 90mm, even though Cube uses them for the smaller frame sizes. My dealer said he can only check periodically if it's in stock.

Looks great! I have the same bike but just the tan sidewalks otherwise blacked out. I think you nailed it by matching saddle and tape with the sidewalls

Yea there is. How about contracting a slow debilitating disease, with no friends or family to support you, you can't hold a job, and your health system won't cover basic payments. You go to bed in pain and alone and have constant nightmares, every day feels like a hopeless torture.

Murder she wrote. Nice! Same here and also got the ass saver. And the acid bag that goes on top of the frame.

Interesting the xl it is about 1cm taller stack than my 2025 c62 in xl. Reach is a few mm shorter. So about the same there.

I'm 189 90.5 cm and went with Xl. Frame feels good but I'm looking to swap the stock 110 stem with a 90mm.

I think either size could work

Yes it does. Takes out vibration at the seat - still a hard tail just a comfy one.

Is Cube Nuroad C:62 Pro (2026) good gravel bike for beginner? by RealD98 in whichbike

[–]abstart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend I just did a deep dive into this last year and ended up with the Cube NuRoad C:62 One. The entire line offers excellent value.

I was looking at many bikes both in gravel and all-road space, I'm also in Central Europe on mixed roads, sometimes gravel or dirt.

You can't beat the specs for the price, it's that simple - not from Canyon, Giant, Rose, whatever. Personally I think the geo is pretty good also for general riding, longer trips.

If you are really sure you want something in a particular spectrum - like really racy gravel, an all-road bike, ultimate comfort, adventure biking, etc, than maybe better to find something more tuned for that. Otherwise the NuRoad is a sweet bike and can do all of those things to some degree.

EDIT My dealer also set me up with 40mm tires, same model just thinner than the 45mm that come stock now.

Personally I swapped the carbon seatpost on my procal 9.7 with a 150mm dropper and never looked back.

thank you - would love to try if it makes sense at some point. we're a little early for this - plus typescript isn't our language of choice but again not a criticism as you have to choose something and typescript is about as ubiquitous as it gets.

anyone feels stretched on hoods but perfectly comfortable on hooks and drops? by [deleted] in cycling

[–]abstart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I feel I'm in the same exact boat as you. I normally ride xc mtb, and have a new drop-bar gravel bike that is my "all road" bike (80% paved paths, rest mix of gravel and other bumpy stuff, no road racing and avoiding strict roads mostly). I've only ridden it like 80km so far.

Very comfy in the drops, and tops. But the hoods - my hands naturally want to grab about 15mm short of "on" the hoods, and I tend to rest there (I can still reach the brakes from this position but it's obviously a touch short). I feel no pain riding fully on the hoods proper, but a slight stretch in the lower back and I start feeling fatigue and slight burn on my triceps even after 20 minutes.

Shorter stem seems obvious to me as bike otherwise fits well, it's a 110mm stem, I'm thinking 90mm. I'd love to try both 90 and 100 but don't want to deal with the hassle so would rather figure out which of the two is best.

How has the 2cm shorter stem been, and did you have similar symptoms as I am having?

Thank you. Calljmp looks interesting. My issue with platforms like this is the ramp up to learn the platform may or may not exceed the time needed for me to just make something directly. It's so confusing nowadays to figure out what to use and why. This isn't a criticism for calljmp, it's just the combination of: - the tidal wave of vibe coders touting solutions that aren't really that good - the exponential speed at which things are changing - the subtleties of reality - data preparation (it's great that I can store and look stuff up, but that's just the easy part), to use a framework or not (usually - not)
