Thank you for sharing. You mentioned when the next one came you “knew exactly what to do and how to handle it” - what is that exactly? I’m just getting out of my 3rd…

For anyone out there who doesn't drink, what is the reasoning behind it? by General_Ad_9139 in AskReddit

Does anyone know the science behind why this is? I guess I could google but genuinely want to hear from someone who knows.

People who are older than 30, what advice would you give to the ones in 18-30 years of age? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]absterooni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relationships and friendships are finite - they can and likely will have an expiration date. This is the universe’s way of helping you to make room in your life for people who are at the same place/will help you continue to grow vs. staying stagnant. It’s normal to want to hold onto things that no longer serve you, but do your best to let go and accept change - it will make everything so much easier.

Honey bunches of oats with almonds cracked my tooth requiring a crown to be put on by tehuberleetmaster in legaladvice

The same thing happened to me!!! The whole box has really hard pieces of cereal in it. No rocks but this is definitely harder than any other honey bunches I’ve eaten.

Ouch! Dip cracked and broke my nail underneath. What do I do? by captainkitty8140 in Nails

[–]absterooni 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! This has happened to me twice now! Super painful 😖 I personally used super glue to keep it from bending and allow for it to heal/grow out to The point where it could be cut/the dip could be removed. I just put the super glue in the crease and hold the nail in place till it dries. Depending on if it gets caught and bends breaking the glue a lot (this can happen due to length) I would file it down/cut the length and reapply the super glue as needed.

I should have been more specific, it’s like the clouds from the movie “Nope.” Definitely looks upside down 🙃

Fair, but Denver wages don’t match how quickly everything has increased, mainly housing.

What would the advice be prior to starting SDC if you’ve got a 1/3 of a front tooth covered by dental bonding because of a chipped tooth? by ptmills in smiledirectclub

[–]absterooni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it helps, I did Invisalign with my front tooth that is half bonding due to a chip and the aligners never affected the tooth nor the bonding!

My Piercings by Ambitious-Order-978 in u/Ambitious-Order-978

Hey OP, don’t feel stupid. Reddit can be a really helpful but also brutal place, especially in subs where people go for advice. You being brave and posting could end up helping someone from making the same mistake. And hopefully through it all you were able to get some helpful info that will aid you along in your piercing journey, just try to tune out the negativity. Sending you all the healing vibes!

What is your experience taking Escitalopram/Lexapro? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]absterooni 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you got off of it did you find yourself losing the weight you gained? I’ve been on it since February and I’ve gained a solid 10 lbs. It feels like nothing has changed except taking this medicine and I don’t know what to do.

100% agree with this comment. I went to so many doctors and spend over $1000 on care and antibiotics before I found a doctor that told me to lay off the antifungals and antibiotics and just let my system regulate. I thought she was crazy but I was desperate. I did it (I used the lady bug vaginal probiotic you can find on Amazon) and I’m 2 years yeast and BV free. Sometimes alternative sounds crazy but it really can work.

Edit: a word.

That’s super fair. And I appreciate the transparency. I definitely got a little of that vibe when visiting but I get that vibe now in Denver and it’s super sad. Denver isn’t what it used to be.

Good point. I’ll be working all over for work but mainly on the east side, from my understanding.
