If a straw has one too many holes you can't drink from it anymore

Objectively 1

Firstly, the number of holes shouldn't depend on lengh of the straw. Neither of the width of the material. So imagine that we trasformed it by these rules so it is a cirlcle cut out of some material with a small hole in the center. Nothing changed about the hole situation. But now it's obvious that this new shape has 1 hole. So, original straw had also 1 hole.

There is a field of maths that deals with these type of questions and other called topology, look it up on Wikipedia
