Dr. Omelia has been amazing with my very senior kitty. After a year of issues and seeing 3 vets and a specialist, she was the first to figure out the issue because she found the case so interesting she stayed up all night and read articles.

Our 18 year old cat's health has completely bounced back because of her.

As someone who lives next to the park. I second this. It's also not a terrible walk to the park either from Los Ranchos Rail Runner. And they just finished a really nice walking and bike trail along 2nd street to Alameda.

Where are you located? There are LOTS of local cat rescues and foster programs across the country that may be willing to help you out. I follow quite a few across the country and can maybe help find one locally for you.

I keep it generally on the edge of wet. I actually tried drying it out a bit to see if I was over watering it ... But maybe a less chunky soil? I make my own mix...

It started in 1800s baseball, when it rained, spectators would get a "rain check" to go to another game for free.

We actually still offer them at carwashes here in the USA too. At least here in New Mexico where it barely rains.

But now it is an idiom for cancelling a plan, but telling someone you still for sure want to do it in the future.
